His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found initiatives aimed at community impact, such as Baccus and Edible Promises. Currently, he works as a Data and Technology Analyst for Field to Market Canada and as a Management Consultant for Serecon, focusing on operational efficiency and sustainability. As the CEO, Espartaco has driven the company’s mission to reduce food waste and empower local farmers through solar-powered food preservation technology, aiming to lead the Canadian market in sustainable practices.

Gianfranco Gonzalez Arteaga

Chief Finance Officer

Gianfranco Gonzalez Arteaga is a Financial Controller and Entrepreneur with over 7 years of experience in business consultancy, healthcare, and automotive sectors, making him ideal for overseeing financial operations at Solar Dehydrator. Raised in China, he completed the International Baccalaureate and earned a Bachelor’s in International Relations and a Master’s in Global Management from the London School of Economics, graduating with Distinction. His career includes roles as a Research Assistant at Simon-Kucher and co-founding a dental clinic in Mexico. Currently, as Finance Controller at an automotive supplier, he manages financial operations and compliance. As the CFO of the company he has collaborated with his brother Espartaco to launch the business in Canada, leveraging his financial expertise to navigate the complexities of operations.
